Things I'm Loving! May Edition

Cake
You seriously have to check out this cake.  Wow, it is amazing. The cake recipe is from Annie's Eats - my go to for desserts, seriously, I have never had a bad dessert from this blog. It is a chocolate peanut butter cake that I made for mom's birthday & Mother's day.  It had a secret ingredient in it that I had never used in a cake before - sour cream!  I was surprised at how good the cake turned out.  The frosting was peanut butter (very reminiscent of Pioneer Woman's Peanut Butter Pie).

OHH MYY! I am LOVING this show.  From episode 1, I have been rooting for Rayna (I love her in this role, but a little part of her will always be Tammy Taylor on FNL) & Deacon.  Love them together and hope the cliffhanger season finale will have a desirable outcome on Season 2s premiere.  

Last week of school
I can hardly believe that my first teaching year is almost done.  Holy Moly!  This year has flown by!  I have learned so much and am going to miss my kiddos next year.  There have been ups & downs but overall, it has been fantastic.

New House
The house is almost done!  We will officially be homeowners in a few weeks :)
